Very clean, freshly renovated and spacious units; good location to Banff National Park and compared to Banff or Lake Louise with very good value for money
Staff sometimes unfriendly and not particularly eager

Basically the accommodation is well equipped, as far as everything you need is available.
The pictures on the Internet are deceptive. At least in reality it looked quite different with us: everything was a bit shabby... it urgently needed to be renovated. We weren't really comfortable.

The place can fit 6 people (2 in 2 bedrooms and 2 in the living room). It's very cheap for place close to Banff, which is around 15 mins away.

Liked the space and pet friendly; green space behind building was nice. The beds were comfortable and infloor heat was nice.
The pool water was cold and the pool room was freezing. There is no way any child (or adult) could use this amenity. It was one of the main reasons we stayed at Inn of the Rockies. We do not have an indoor pool where we live and we go out of our way to stay at hotels with pools for our children to enjoy; we were not able to do this on this trip and it was VERY disappointing. Paper towels are desperately needed in the kitchen and a floor mat at the backdoor! And housekeep lacks consistency of amenities between units; for example not enough towels, toilet paper or kleenex. The building maintenance on the exterior is a huge concern, the water is not draining away from the building correctly and there are huge ice build ups on the front steps and along the sidewalks making it difficult to walk around the premises safely. I would think in the summer during rain storm it would be hard to get into your unit without getting shower due to the eves troughs not working.

Having a condo, the price, and location. The staff were great.
The furniture could be updated as the couch uncomfortable & well warn. The beds could be softer with a nice duvet cover. The hot tub working would have been nice & the pool side temperature warmer so the pool could be used. Some coffee/tea/spices would be helpful.

We look for accommodations with a kitchen, so we can make our own meals and keep snack foods on hand. The kitchen was great, except the frying pans were of poor quality, otherwise enough equipment to make most anything. The separate bedrooms, each with their own TV made it possible to catch a couple of shows at the same time. Most of the time we visited in an open living, dining and kitchen area. Everyone felt they had lots of room to move. Great location, close to skiing, shopping, hot springs, etc. We will be back.

Upstairs / downstairs condo gave us space and cooking options. Price was better than other options when we were booking late. it was out of Canmore downtown and quieter.
While our condo was spotless, we have to assume the facility is poorly maintained in general. We had a significant water drip in the bathroom, so loud and 1/second that we had to keep the bathroom door shut at night. How much water does that waste, boys and girls? The AC filters had clearly not been cleaned (ever?) and had half an inch of black lint/dirt stuff which we didn't want to breath. We cleaned them. The check-in manager said a back door to the exercise facility would be open 24/7 because a manager is on site 9am-9pm. The door was always locked. The check-out person said the other was mistaken. Get it right folks, these are pretty simple things to manage properly.

My husband and I stayed with his parents at the Inn and there was lots of room for the 4 of us. Lots of space for togetherness and for some privacy

Not so much a hotel room...more a house! Two stories, big lounge and kitchen ( fully equipped) two bedrooms. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, central heating and aircon. All brand new, including carpets etc. Nice pool and sauna. Most importantly, less than two minutes from Banff National Park. Great value at twice the price.
